2) Free Initial Consultation
If I accept your application, I will set-up a FREE initial consultation. This allows me to connect with each prospective client and really understand each person's story and goals.
3) Onboarding
Start working with Josh! Fill out an initial questionnaire so I can tailor YOUR plan to YOUR lifestyle and equipment access. Receive your CUSTOM fitness tracker, along with tools such as access to an exercise database that teaches form.
4) Weekly Check-Ins
As you knock out your workouts and nail your macros, you will be filling out your tracker along the way! This gives Josh data to analyze and work with to ensure that weekly adjustments move you CLOSER to your physique goals.

What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
Inconsistent diet and achieving aesthetic body for a photoshoot.
How did Josh help you solve your problems and achieve your fitness goals?
Josh laid out a comprehensive macro-nutrient guidelines by utilizing the MyFitnessPal app. He also actively adjusted the routines and nutrition based on my physique photos and body weight per week.
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
Before contacting Josh, I thought I knew about nutrition because I have tried the carnivore diet and intermittent fasting with some moderate success. It wasn't until I worked with Josh that I truly learned about nutrition in fitness, and how important it is for attaining the body you want. Working with him also dispelled the idea that you must be on bulking-cutting cycles, and that I can just follow a sustainable diet model all-year around.
What would you tell someone thinking about working with Josh?
Josh is a very positive and motivating coach. He will not guilt-trip you for missing workouts, as he understands that life can set some priorities off-balance. As a client, I did not feel like "just another client," in that he prescribed both personalized exercise and nutrition guidelines; he knows that each client has their own unique goals and needs.
As a consultant who works demanding hours, Josh knows the ways to min-max within the most challenging parameters to include fitness and proper nutrition in your life.
What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
A lack of serious progress or results. I've tried other programs in the past such as 5 x 5 StrongLifts, but the gains were slow and tapered off very quickly.
What has Josh helped the most with?
Josh has taught me that it’s possible to diet effectively while still enjoying everything I eat. I also like to prioritize efficiency in the gym and Josh showed me that just an hour is enough time for a very effective workout with smart programming.
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
Working with Josh has showed me that it’s possible to attain a top-tier physique naturally. Before going through this process, I didn't think it was realistic to get a shredded physique similar to the ones I've seen on social media as a natural lifter, but I ended up surpassing my own expectations and goals. I also learned how simple of a process fitness can be once you learn which things are important to focus on.
What were some of your biggest accomplishments working with Josh?
Two of my favorite moments have been:
1) Increasing my bench press from 125 lbs to 255 lbs in less than one year of lifting
2) Losing 40 lbs, going from 230 lbs to 190 lbs in 3 months
What would you tell someone thinking about working with Josh?
Working with Josh is very different from the standard personal trainer or online coach because he’s willing to teach you the how and the why of everything he does. I always like to learn and understand what I’m doing and why it works rather than having to rely entirely on someone else, and I’m always able to give Josh a lot of input about what my goals are, what exercises I like and how I like to workout so that we can come up with the perfect plan together. For me, that’s what makes Per Diem Fit way more valuable than the typical online coach or personal trainer who prescribes the same exact program to everyone and has no interest in teaching you anything.
What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
Consistency and strength progression was the greatest challenge before following Josh’s plan. I would just go to the gym without a clear goal and I would never track my progress.
How did Josh help you solve your problems and achieve your fitness goals?
He developed a 6 month workout plan with the purpose of building strength and focused on my weak points (chest, arms). Josh had me bulk for the first 10 weeks then cut the remaining 15 weeks. I had a body competition with my friend at the end of the program and without Josh’s plan I would have most definitely lost.
What's been the biggest value add from working with Josh?
I would say the biggest value added was the weekly workout and macro updates. If I was behind on the goal, Josh would tweak the diet plan to keep me on track.
What were some fitness goals or milestones you achieved and are proud of working with Josh?
Main goal was to beat my friend in a body competition 6 months out. I was able to achieve that goal with the help of Josh.
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
I realized that in order to see results I needed to be more consistent and disciplined when it comes to my fitness journey.
What would you tell someone thinking about working with Josh?
Do it now! Improving my physical appearance was just one of the takeaways from following Josh’s program. I saw that my mental health improved as well
What were some benefits from working with Josh you experienced outside of the gym?
I noticed that I’m more goal driven in other aspects of my life after going through Josh’s program. The overall experience has been positive!!
What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
As someone who doesn't like to cook and eats out every meal, I've had a hard time with my weight, especially during and post-covid.
How did Josh help you solve your problems and achieve your fitness goals?
Josh has provided me with a completely customized nutrition plan that allows me to eat out every single day, at different restaurants. This makes dieting very seamless and easy to follow for me as I like variety in my diet and I don't have time to cook. So far, he's helped me lost 15 lbs in just 8 weeks!
What were some fitness goals or milestones you achieved and are proud of working with Josh?
Getting into the best shape of my list post-covid. I always thought you need a strict diet where you cook every meal to lose weight; however, I was able to lose 25 lbs eating out every meal!
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
I never realized how important lifting and training properly is. Before working with Josh, I never tracked my workouts and always just went with the flow. Now, I make an effort to beat my previous workout's data and weights. Additionally, Josh makes adjustments every week and provides notes and recommendations on what weights I should use, along with any feedback to my form. He has really helped me optimize my approach to fitness!
What would you tell someone thinking about working with Josh?
I highly recommend working with Josh! Like in any field, the most efficient way to improve at something is to find a mentor or coach. Fitness isn't any different and I strongly believe working with Josh has helped my physique reach levels I never thought I would achieve. He is also extremely knowledgeable and has taught me a ton about fitness.
What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
Consistency, following a routine, tracking my weights, noticing gains, knowing how much to eat.
How did Josh help you solve your problems and achieve your fitness goals?
He gave me a customized workout and diet routine built specifically for me, not just a general plan for a person with my body type. He updates it weekly based off how the week went to assure every week will be successful. He is always available whenever I need questions and is always checking in on me. It’s very difficult to see the gains on yourself and that can be frustrating but Josh is never shy to let you know that you’re killing it, which is very motivating.
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
Josh has really opened my eyes a lot when it comes to nutrition. Ever since I started tracking my macros, I’ve learned that a lot of “good foods” aren’t necessarily that good for you after all. I’ve learned to make smarter choices when eating out, and to cut back. In terms of lifting, I’ve learned not to push myself, you will get stronger even if you think you can lift more, or feel like you’re not being given enough, trust the process as you can really hurt yourself if you go too hard, which is very difficult to do with how Josh writes up your workouts.
What would you tell someone thinking about working with Josh?
I’ve recommended many people to start working with Josh. I think it’s a great experience for someone who is either starting out or experienced. If you’re trying to get lean or bulk up, he will be able to guide you. What it ultimately boils down to is your own will power. Josh provides you with all the tools necessary to change your life, it’s up to you to use them.
What challenges prevented you from your fitness goals before working with Josh?
Lack of in-depth knowledge on programming and a lot of lost muscle from not working out during covid.
What's been the biggest value add from working with Josh?
Not having to think about my programming or workout methodology. Josh makes adjustments on a weekly basis and will check-in with me to make sure that I’m on track.
What were some fitness goals or milestones you achieved and are proud of working with Josh?
Bulked up to my heaviest ever and then shredded fat to my best look physique to-date. All of this while I was studying for my Masters in Finance and also staying social with friends.
How has Josh changed your perspective and approach with fitness?
I consider myself experienced when it comes to the gym with numerous years of lifting experience. However, after working with Josh, I’ve learned how helpful it is to have a coach. Josh makes sure I progress week to week and helps keeps me on track. He has really proven the effectiveness of working with a coach.
What would you tell somebody who’s thinking about working with Josh?
They should hire him since he is affordable and very knowledgeable.

Josh has been instrumental in getting back in shape after corona virus. I wanted to take more rigorous approach to my programming since I felt I had been stagnating for a while. Josh helped me break through a plateau and really push me to the limits.
